A TikTok about “facial balancing” stopped me in my tracks: The video showed celebrities with their chins digitally altered to be significantly weaker, to illustrate what a huge difference a chin makes in the face. The images lived rent-free in my brain for months, and videos about chin filler and facial harmony became mainstays on my FYP.
So ahead of my wedding, I decided to get chin and jawline filler. As someone with a naturally “weak” chin and jawline, the filler transformed my face. It made it appear slimmer, longer, and less square. To put it lightly, I was obsessed with the results, and would talk about the power of chin filler to anyone who would listen.
